RGB'S - SUBARU 4EAT 4 SPEED AUTO - T2 EARLY BAY WINDOW 2WD 1968 -1971

This kit converts the Subaru 4EAT / 4 speed automatic transmission from AWD to 2WD and reverses the drive. The kit also comes with brackets to install the transmission into a EARLY T2 Bay Window 1968-1971.

Kit includes: 

• All brackets and bolts for the RGB's to be bolted to the transmission
• All brackets and bolts for the transmission to bolt into the vehicle  
• Shortened axles *The axles may need to be cut / shortened which is an easy job
• CV adapter flanges so the stock VW Cv's bolt to the RGB's
• Reversaru stub axles (that are inserted into the transmission and have a splined female cup and transmit drive to the input shaft of the RGB)
• Oil Filter blank of cap (as the spin on oil filter gets removed and an in-line filter is installed instead)
• In-Line transmission oil filter 

NOTES: 

• We also sell an 'Electric shift kit' for the 4EAT that connects to the shift lever of the transmission so you can select gears with the push of a button. The electric shift kit is sold separately and can be found in our online store. 
• We also sell a pre-machined 'Top Shaft' so that you don't need to take your top shaft to a local machine shop to have it turned down to the correct dimensions. Please search our store for the '4EAT Top Shaft'. 
• Late Bay Windows from 1973-1979 are a different listing. This listing is for 1968-1971.
