LABOUR TO ASSEMBLE YOUR KIT!

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE LISTING FOR A 'REVERSE DRIVE KIT'. BY PURCHASING THIS ITEM, YOU ARE PAYING FOR OUR LABOUR TO ASSEMBLE YOUR KIT FOR YOU. 

If you are undecided on purchasing an 'Assembled Kit', please watch the video in this listing. This may help you decide whether you would like to assemble your kit yourself or have us assemble it for you.  

The photos in the listing display how your gear set will arrive to you if you do choose for us to assemble your gears for you. This option makes for an easy install. 

If you purchase the labour for us to assemble your kit, here's what we do on your behalf:

The 6008 bearing (which is included in the kit) will be pressed onto the bottom gear and the 40mm external circlip will be installed to secure the bearing on the bottom gear. 

The bottom gear and bearing will be pressed into the transfer gear plate.     

The 2x bearing cones from the 2x tapered roller bearings will be pressed into the transfer gear.

The 2x roller bearings and transfer gear will be installed onto the spigot of transfer gear plate. The preload on the 2x tapered roller bearings will be set. *The pre-load must be perfect or it can cause premature wear and / or failure of the gear set.  

The R-type lock nut will be tightened to the correct torque so that the pre-load on the bearing is perfect and the 3x grub screws on the R-type lock nut will be secured. 

*Please note that you need to use (and modify) the top shaft from your 4EAT transmission. So due to the fact that we will not have your top shaft or top bearing with us when we assemble your kit, we are unable to assemble the top shaft and top shaft components.
