The kit bolts directly into the pre-existing bolt holes of the transmission and the shifter mechanism itself bolts directly into the pre-existing holes in the floor pan of the T3 Vanagon. It's like it was meant to be there!!

*This kit does NOT fit a Syncro. The Syncro kit is being tested as we speak and will be released later in the year.
*This listing is for the 2WD - 4 speed - 094 manual transmission that is typically found in the 1983 onward Water-Cooled Vanagons. Please watch the instruction video in this listing and near the beginning of the video you will see how the 4 speed 094 transmission is identified.
*The shift kit for the 5 speed 094 and 4 speed 094 have the identical parts (apart from the gear shift knob).
*We also offer a shift kit for both the 091 (4 speed). To save confusion, please note that there is a seperate listing for the 091 4 speed manual transmission (which is typically found in the 1980 - 1982 Air-Cooled T3 Vanagons).
*The gear stick is not included. You have the option of cutting your original gear stick down to use in the selector mechanism, or you can purchase a gear stick separately from our online store.
Please be sure to inform us if you have a spare tyre that is a different size than standard as we will need to send you different brackets for the shift mechanism. Failing to inform us will result in extra shipping costs to return the incorrect part and to send the correct part.
