This in-line automatic transmission filter is required when the RGB's are bolted to the Subaru 4EAT - 4 speed auto transmission. 

In order to bolt the RGB's as close to the transmission as possible - the original 'screw on' oil filter is deleted and therefore, this in-line filter is required to take it's place. 

Notes: 

  • The blank off plate to delete the 'screw on' oil filter on the 4EAT auto transmission is included in the RGB kit for the 4EAT
