DIFFERENTIAL COVER TO SUIT FLIPPED WRX / STI R180 DIFFERENTIAL

CNC milled from 6061 billet aluminium, this differential cover has been designed to be used on a flipped (upside-down) R180 Subaru WRX / STI differential.

The reason the differential would be flipped is to obtain a 'reverse drive' (See our 'Syncaru' build on the REVERSARU youtube channel where we take a 2WD T3 Vanagon and convert it to 4WD using the full Subaru drive train and a flipped WRX STI LSD up the front). 

Use this diff case if you are using a Subaru R180 differential. 

When flipping a differential, you are unable to re-use the original differential cover as the filler and drain holes end up in the incorrect positions after it's flipped. 

The REVERSARU flipped differential cover relocates the drain hole to the bottom as it should be, and the filler plug is located higher than standard in order to raise the oil level up to the pinion bearing level so that the pinion bearing continues to receive lubrication from the differential oil.   

• The differential cover comes with 1x filler plug & 1x drain plug.  
• Also comes with 1x breather barb that screws into the machined thread at the top of the cover 
• The R180 differentials came out in the STI but also came out in Turbo Legacy's etc.
